Tread rubber cut, through cut in tread or up to tyre casing. Sometimes there can be tread separation because of that. Generally present at one place.

Causes of Damage/Wear

Majorly because of hit by external objects like stones or Pothole. Chances of appearing more if vehicle is being driven on bad roads with rough surface.
